Here are a few recent pics of our son.  He is the most wonderful thing in the world to us!

Miles slept through his first Christmas tree hunt...when he woke up and saw it, he approved so we decided to keep it.

This is the finished project from both angles.  I am very pleased with the way that it turned out.  I put a lot of time and work (and $crilla) into it but it is all completely worth it.  I hope it adds to your enjoyment of the holiday season!

I've been asked..."what more can you do?" and I am already planning more things for next year.  Jessica keeps telling me to just enjoy it this year and I do!  I'm simply preparing for next year when I may have more competition in the neighborhood.

Last night (Saturday), we had the official home lighting ceremony to kick off our 'fun, old-fashioned, family Christmas'.  We invited some of the neighbors and Jessica's family.  If I counted correctly, there were 46 people (including children) standing outside our home as I turned on our Christmas lights officially.   There was hot chocolate and donuts along with some Christmas music playing in the background.  One of my neighbors was out putting up more lights on his house and lining his driveway late last night...I think I have inspired someone.  We talked about going out early, the day after Christmas, to purchase many new lights for next year!  Anyway...

This is the video Jessica took just as I ran in to the house to begin turning on our Christmas lights.  I had two plugs in my master bathroom, I had to turn on the swamp cooler, I had three cords to plug in downstairs in the basement, one outlet behind our living room couch, and one more in the garage.

This is a video I took just after all the lights were on and running.

For anyone interested, and I know there are at least a few, go to my lights blog where I have broken down exactly how many lights I used etc.

Check out my blog for my Christmas lights...

How cute is this?  Miles asleep on Dad's chest.
Jess took Miles to Build A Bear and, as you can see, his bear is a JAZZ fan!
One of Miles' fav things is trying to stick his whole hand in his mouth!  Looks pretty tasty!

Miles had his first go in the Bumbo and by the look on his face, he was not quite sure what to think of the whole situation...

Miles had his blessing on Sunday.  Look how precious he is...then check out how beautiful Jessica is!  Daaang!
For Halloween we had a fire in our driveway.  It wasn't a terribly chilly evening but we did get rained on a bit.  We hung out, made hot dogs and smores and handed out candy to all the ghosts and gouls.  The comment was made that it was the 'coolest Halloween ever'.   Special thanks to the Dennis' for the idea last year.

Look at the cousins...Tracen doesn't sit still long enough to take a picture but these two were happy to pose.  Shortly after this picture was taken, Logan attempted multiple times to swallow Miles' head.  Good thing its too big to fit in his mouth...He tried though!
Miles dressed himself as Tigger for Halloween.  He was very warm and very cute!
We carved some sweet pumpkins this year on Wednesday night before Halloween.  The next day, my tombstone was pretty flimsy and I had to stabilize it with tooth picks and that still didn't work great...Oh well.

Miles loves his bouncer and the toys on it.  He kicks and makes them sing and make noise.

We took Miles to the doctor the week of Halloween and he is doing great!  He weighed in at 13 lbs 2 oz... 23 1/2 inches... his head was also in the 50-75th percentile as was his weight and length.  We have a healthy, happy baby who really is the joy of our lives!
