No more BINKY

We took the boys to the Dentist a week ago and everything looked good but he said it was about time for Miles to get rid of his binky. I told the Dentist that he needed to tell Miles because he never listens to me, so he did. I did not think it was going to work. And I did not want to take them away because if he sleeps he can have what ever he wants. So when we got home it I asked Miles if he wanted to get rid of his binky and he said the Doctor told him he had to. I still did not believe that it would last, but it did. I was so proud of him that we took him to the story and he could pick what ever he wanted and this is what he wanted.
He has not put it down and no one can play with it. He even takes it to bed. I guess it is better then a binky.

34 Weeks

Lately I have been going to the Doctors once a week to have stress test and to make sure Jordyn is still growing. When I went last week they told me that she is growing great. She was just over 5 lbs and the nurse said she had a fat belly and checks, which I am great with. she has not been under any stress but she does not like them messing with her. Ever time they get set to start the test she moves and they have to do it again, or she goes to sleep (which makes her heart rate slow down) so they have to try and wake her up. I love that she is so stubborn and is not even out yet.
We also got to go down to Primary Children's. She is doing amazing. They found an artery that they did not think she had. It does not mean that she is all better, but it gives the Surgeons more to work with. Therefore making the surgery more successful. We know that it is something small but we will take anything at this point to give her a better chance. They also gave me a new due date the 27th at 7:30 is when I will go in to have her, if i don't go into labor before that.
The sad part about the visit was they went into more detail about what she is going to be like after she is out of surgery. The Doctor started by telling us that she will not look like herself and we might not recognizer her. She is going to be really swollen. Then they go on to say that we will not be able to hold her for a few days over ever week, because her chest will be left open until she is stable. The only thing we will be able to do is touch her head and maybe hands. Jordyn will also be kept under so that she can not move. They said it is like her being paralyzed but she might be able to open her eyes.
Finally to add to the hard news they took us to see the CICU. It was the saddest place I have ever been and it took everything in me not to break down right there. It is very quiet because all the babies are under so they were not crying. The babies are all in different rooms and have SO many thing hooked up to them. After seeing that i don't know how i am going to make it.

Sun Valley

Last weekend Jason had a work conference in Sun Valley and I got to go. My wonderful family kept the boys so Jason and I could have our last vacation. Jason went to work in the morning and I sleep in. Then Jason when on a bike ride and I read my book (Matched and it was really good). And at night we went on a date. It was so amazing just to sit around and do nothing, I don't remember the last time I did that. The one think that made me laugh was how much we missed the boys. I had been looking forward to getting away for months and as soon as I was away I wanted to be back. Jason and I almost came home a day early because we hated being away from Miles and Tyson (the hotel would not let us check out without paying for another day). But it was great to be able to spend time with Jason before life gets really crazy. He is my best friend and I love being able just to talk to him, without kids around. I could not have asked for a better weekend.

State Fair

On Saturday we decided to go to the State Fair. It all started with a corn dog. The boys loved it but they could not wait to see the animals.
The boys loved the animals and could not believe how many there were. We let them out of their stroller to see the goats. They are a little too friendly but they liked it.

Jason being the wonderful dad he is took them on the big yellow slide. Miles made it all the way to the top and when Jason sat down with Tyson, Miles tried to go back down. One of the workers had to pick him up and give him to Jason. Once he was sitting he loved it.

There was a little kids farm, where the kids can see what people do on a farm. they got to milk a cow (not a real one), plant seeds, harvest crops, and
ride on a tractor. I think this was their favorite part.

MIles is 3

Miles is 3

I cannot believe that my baby is 3. For his Birthday we went swimming with my family (I forgot the camera so no pictures). Then all my family came over to the house to have cake and presents. He loved every minute of it and got more then he could have ever wanted.
Jaycee decorated the chocolate one for Miles

Miles loved everything that he got but he was so excised for his horse and hat. He would not put it down.

Baseball

Baseball

Miles got to go to his first Bees game. He enjoyed it, but he is not very good at focusing. Most of the time he just wanted to play and not watch.

For Miles the best part of the game was when it started to rain. He thought it was so much fun to try and “eat the rain”
